몬트리올 지역의 많은 지자체와 자치구는 5일 폭풍우로 인한 정전 기간 동안 시민들이 전자기기를 충전하고 따뜻하게 지낼 수 있도록 커뮤니티 센터를 열었다.

일부 지자체 및 자치구는 소셜 미디어에 센터, 도서관 및 기타 공간이 열려 있다고 게시했다.

몬트리올 시의 311번 라인은 자치구에 직접 연락하여 시청이 열려 있는지 여부를 결정할 것도 가능하다.
